I don’t understand this ship. He killed all those people, manipulates, probably would have killed John if he turned his back. But yea Flint is the lamb.

When Madi was presumably dead it was the best scenario for Flint. He had John where he wanted. Following his every move, willing to go the the darkness with him. With Madi dead John was vulnerable again. And don’t come for me cause this just plain and simple facts.

Throwing away my intention of having the gifset to portray Flint and Silver being both the metaphorical lamb and the knife, and whole thing is a double-edged blade; The whole idea of the show is everybody is selfish. Everyone has an agenda. They are all, ultimately, in a no-win situation. Yes Flint Is manipulative, my god, Silver IS manipulative, news flash: everybody is manipulative. By god, everyonE has killed people and manipulated someone at some point of the show.

Flint sees Madi and Silver as his equal, his ally, how would Madi presumably dead be the best scenario for Flint? Also ignoring how Flint has also become attached to Madi and a friend, you can see Flint is also hurt by the news as he came to Silver? He wasn’t thinking how it works in his favor, nor how it will aide in his war, he is in mourning and offering his genuine support and comfort to Silver. The look on him when Silver uttered out it wasn’t his fault? Again back to the point that everyone is selfish. Flint’s main incentive is to win the unwinnable war against Britain, against the Civilization. He would give away anyone’s life, including HIS, to make it so. He literally had himself held as hostage back in the middle of the season. 

Also “would have killed John if he turned his back” um the ending of 4.09, and he literally asked Silver even as he doubted him on the Skeleton Island in 4.10, with Silver having his back turned on Flint, Flint standing behind Silver lmao

Sure if you can’t see them as a ship, feel free, I’m not here to force a ship down your throat. But just damn don’t leave hate comments on a post that is clearly not your taste nor what you like, go somewhere else
