Photographer Will Scott celebrates the varied architecture of London Underground stations

Will Scott’s Architecture of the Underground photo series showcases the diverse designs of London’s Tube stations, from the art-deco of Arnos Grove to the high-tech of Canary Wharf.
The photo series also hones in on the design details both inside and outside the stations, such as the typography used for signage and the tiled illustrations applied to platform walls.“I love the level of detail that went into both the individual stations and the overall network, it was an incredible labour of love,” said Scott.

Kinda want to grab an italian copy of Good Omens to see how they translated the "gayer than a treeful of monkeys on nitrous oxide" part lol

Ask again after 3 October. I have an Italian copy at home, where i will be from 2 October onwards. The original title has been cleverly translated as “Buona Apocalisse a tutti”.

Hi, I have located my Italian translation of Good Omens. P.161: “Le prime impressioni che Azraphel suscitava in chi facesse conoscenza con lui erano tre: che fosse un gentleman inglese, che fosse intelligente, e che fosse piu’ vivace di un albero pieno di scimmie intossicate da un gas esilarante”. Bloody hell, the translator translated GAY as VIVACE = lively, vivacious. Pity, because he got a number of other things right.

From the commentary on “The Ram Has Touched the Wall”: “Look at that! Carved in alabaster. Actually it is a great shot, he does look like some marble effigy. […] Heh. Nobody does a thousand yard stare like Kevin McKidd. Absolutely brilliant.” — Ray Stevenson.

Rome, one of the few enduring loves of my life that are not Westerns. Oh, Lucius Vorenus.
