Oh, how I wish Corbett and Cuchillo stayed together at the end (Cuchillo should AT LEAST do something about Corbett’s shoulder wound) or maybe arranged to meet again later on. But in Italian westerns most pair bonds dissolve with amicable partings (deep sigh).
Corbett, riding into a country from which he just helped a fugitive escape (something known by a powerful man who definitly has a grudge against him now is), bleeding from a completely untreated gunshot wound: (((((:
Chapters: 4/4 Fandom: Da uomo a uomo | Death Rides a Horse (1967) Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Bill Meceita/Ryan Characters: Bill Meceita, Ryan (Death Rides a Horse), Original Characters Summary:
Ryan and Bill start working for a stagecoach company.
This story does not follow the ending of the film. It can be read as a stand-alone a/u (if you know the characters), or as a sequel to my story “Rebuilding”.
Not quite curtainfic, but as close as I have ever come to it.

sometimes when someone comments on your fanfic, it’s like those randomly-occurring emergency heal spells that bring you back up to full health when you’re about to die. like i was struggling to write today but someone out of nowhere left a comment and HELLO! THANK YOU! i am back and a writer again.
My usual term of comparison for comments (not just “nice story”, but detailed responses with concrit) is blood and plasma.
Our Neil Gaiman Christmas just moved into fifth gear. We’ve our shiny, new production of Anansi Boys on Radio 4, PLUS another chance to hear the mesmerizing Good Omens on our sister station Radio 4 Extra. Lower Tadfield here we come 🙂

Philosophy Tube just completed a fantastic video series on liberalism, and I highly recommend it for people wanting to understand the ideology of the status quo.
Part 1 discusses how liberalism contextualizes violence in relation to other ideologies
Part 2 discusses the interconnected history of liberalism and capitalism
Part 3 discusses neoliberalism as an ongoing political trend since the 1980s
Part 4 discusses the major structural flaws inherent to liberalism
“Why did you agree to this…Arrangement with the demon, Principality Aziraphale?”
“…6,000 years of no contact with your family outside of reports through a circle on the floor… can cause even the strongest to crumble and crave company, no matter who it’s from. I am, or rather I’m guessing soon-to-be was, an angel, sir. We angels can only last a couple of years without companionship, without our siblings.”
“That may be true, Aziraphale. But why didn’t you simply request for a fellow angel to come down and be with you?”
“…There’s only so much someone as thin on ice as I am can request before people start to think that I can’t even walk on my own two feet without failing. …And it isn’t like I’m well liked here anyways, so what was the point?”
“Aziraphale, who told you such a thing?”
“6000 years with no contact, outside of reports, with my own family. Think about what that translates as in a demoted and swordless, fighting for his life and humanity alone on Earth, angel’s mind.”
Silence filled the air as the other angels, horrified, realized what exactly they had been doing to their sibling. Aziraphale, at the same time, judged by his siblings’ reaction and realized that they hadn’t even realized what they had been doing.
